Short version: Task Me emails notes to yourself through your own Gmail account. Use it for yourself, follow Google's rules, and understand it comes as-is.
Agreement
These terms cover the Task Me iOS app, its share extension, its Siri and Shortcuts action, and this website (together, "Task Me"). Task Me is made by Christopher Sexton ("we", "us"). By using Task Me, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
What Task Me does
Task Me lets you sign in with your Google account and send notes from your Gmail address to your own Gmail address. It needs a Google account with Gmail and an internet connection.
Your Google account
- You're responsible for your Google account and for keeping your device secure.
- Your use of Gmail through Task Me is also governed by Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Google's sending limits and rules apply.
- You can stop using Task Me and revoke its access at any time. See Removing access in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Task Me is for sending notes to yourself. Don't use it to break the law, to violate Google's policies, or to interfere with Task Me or Google's services. You're responsible for the content of the notes you send.
Changes and availability
Task Me depends on Google and Apple services that can change. We may update, change, or stop offering Task Me, in whole or in part, at any time. Delivery of any particular note isn't guaranteed. For anything important, check that it arrived.
No warranty
Task Me is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, messages, or profits, arising from your use of Task Me. Our total liability for any claim relating to Task Me is limited to the amount you paid for Task Me in the 12 months before the claim.
Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Task Me or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continuing to use Task Me after that means you accept the updated terms.
