Privacy Policy

Effective October 2, 2026

Short version: Dividers collects nothing. It doesn't connect to the internet, has no accounts, and everything you type stays on your device.

What Dividers is

Dividers is a woodworking calculator app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. It's made by Christopher Sexton ("we"). This policy covers the Dividers app and this website.

What we collect

Nothing. Dividers has no accounts, analytics, tracking, advertising or crash-reporting services. It makes no network requests and shares no data with anyone, including us.

Your calculations

Numbers you enter and results you calculate stay on your device. Calculation history is kept in memory only and is cleared when you quit the app. If you copy a result, it goes to your device's clipboard like any other copied text.

Crash reports from Apple

If you've chosen to share analytics with Apple in your device settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics under Apple's own privacy policy. We can't see who you are from them.

This website

This website is a set of static pages hosted on GitHub Pages. It sets no cookies and runs no scripts. GitHub may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and pages requested, under GitHub's privacy statement.

Children

Dividers collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
